The Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training program from St. Clair College provides students with the knowledge and skills in scientific principles of Education and Fire Prevention in the Community, Fire Behaviour, Fire Ground Operations, Firefighter Emergency Patient Care, Environmental Protection and Rescue Operations as well as Introduction to the Fire Service.

About the program
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training program from St. Clair College, graduates will be eligible to undertake provincial testing to meet the requirements of the Office of the Fire Marshal for certification as a firefighter under the NFPA 1001, NFPA 1072, and NFPA 1006 Standards.
